Lebih 30 tahun mengemudi acara penganugerahan yang mengangkat bakat filem dan televisyen, Screen Actor Guild Awards atau lebih dikenali dengan nama SAG Awards kembali lagi tahun ini. Penuh gemilang, acara diadakan di L.A. Shrine Auditorium menyaksikan berkumpulnya pemain industri di bawah satu bumbung.

Tahun ini menyaksikan persaingan sengit filem-filem blockbuster dan antarabangsa yang bersaing sengit dalam kategori lakonan. Filem seperti Sinners, Frankenstein, Sentimental Value, Hamnet dan One Battle After Another menjadi tumpuan bakat-bakat lakon layarnya.
