When you think 'graffiti', it brings back memories of the 90s – a time of hip hop, grunge and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Back then, I was just in primary school, and I have a vague memory of using coloured markers to scribble on my school shoes. My mum wasn't too happy, but to my 8-year-old self, my stick figures, colourful butterflies and daisies were a work of art. And now, the latest #DGSneakers from Dolce & Gabbana is like the grown-up version of my beloved childhood footwear.

For the #DGSneaker, Dolce & Gabbana took on the infectious youthful and urban vibe of the 90s, but added a twist with "Dolce is the new black" and "I do it better" scribbles. Maybe Dolce & Gabbana's saying that sneakers are the new heels. If so, I'm more than willing to hope on to that trend.
