Pharrell Williams is a daredevil with a Chanel Gabrielle bag
It's the first time a man has starred in a Chanel bag campaign
Pharrell Williams just made the Chanel Gabrielle bag a unisex bag. The singer stars in the final instalment of the campaign videos, making him the first man to front a bag campaign for the French fashion house. He finds himself alone in a concert hall and does the first thing you'd do: turn it into your own playground.
"My character in the movie is a guy that's probably...really into Chanel, a lot like I am right now," the 44-year-old said. "And a lot like myself, he probably just didn't want to take the bag off."
He doesn't take the bag off, not even for his biggest stunt of all, after which he finds Gabrielle Chanel in an unexpected way. A lesson from Pharrell: stack chain link necklaces to match the strap of your Chanel Gabrielle bag. Take notes, everyone.
