Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele has enlisted Chinese actress Ni Ni to be the maison's new eyewear ambassador in Asia. According to WWD, the Michele specifically chose Ni Ni for her fashion aesthetics and how she perfectly embodied the house's new style.

For Ni Ni, getting work with Michele and Gucci was a dream come true. She praised the creative director for his "passion for beauty of the past" and for how he imparts "his own poetic language into designs that speak to the individuality of a person". "To be part of this new chapter at Gucci is truly inspiring," she said.

Ni Ni's full campaign for Gucci will be released in Asia next month but until then, we have these few shots, photographed by Glen Luchford, to tide us over.
