Thailand's Gaggan tops Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list again
This is the restaurant's third win in a row
Indian chef Gaggan Anand's eponymous restaurant in Thailand has once again topped the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants for the third year in a row. The results were announced yesterday at the W Hotel in Bangkok.
"I don't think I have the best restaurant but I can guarantee that I have 67 people in my restaurant and all of the 67 are the best team that I ever worked with," Anand told The Australian after the event. "The only thing I can say is that I'm humbled and thank you. This is for my country where I came from – India, and for Thailand where is my future, my life."
This year's Asia's 50 Best Restaurant list also has two female-led restaurants; at No. 19 is Bo. Lan in Thailand, run by husband-and-wife duo Dylan 'Lan' Jones and Duangporn 'Bo' Songvisava, and the other at No. 28 is Le Moût in Taiwan, run by Lanshu Chen.
These are the rest of the restaurants that made the top 10 after Gaggan.
