Janet Jackson has welcomed her first child, a boy, on 3 January. She and her husband Wissam Al Mana named him Eissa Al Mana.

People confirmed the news with the 50-year-old singer's rep, who said that "Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably."

Janet married Wissam in 2012, and first hinted in April 2016 that they were planning a family, therefore explaining why she had to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour. It wasn't until October that she announced her pregnancy publicly.
