Celebrity reactions to Casey Affleck winning a Best Actor Oscar
Viola Davis's face is everything, and Chrissy Teigen's the real MVP of course
The 89th Academy Awards has not been without its drama (we're still not over the Best Picture mishap) but in the midst of all that's happening; we have to talk about the scandal that's surrounding Casey Affleck's Best Actor win. Last month, Fresh Off the Boat actress Constance Wu made headlines when she spoke out against the Academy for nominating Affleck despite his ongoing sexual harassment allegations. Fast-forward to yesterday's Oscars and much to everyone's bewilderment, Casey Affleck won Best Actor.
Cue Viola Davis' accurate expression during a group photo of all the Oscar winners. Yes, Viola – that's what we're thinking too. Emma Stone was, perhaps, *trying* to be diplomatic. But Viola? Nope.
Just watch the way the rest of the people in the star-studded theatre reacted.
Last year's Best Actress winner, Brie Larson is a long-time advocate for sexual assault survivors (her Oscar nominated film Room was about a rape survivor) and she had to present Casey with his Oscar, after also presenting him his Golden Globe. She definitely didn't seem too excited and, once she handed him the award, she stood solemnly to the side and did not clap. Even. Once.

Casey went on to gush about fellow nominee Denzel Washington, thanking the latter for being "one of the first people who taught me how to act." Denzel's face says it all.
Other noticeable reactions: Ryan Gosling's confused face, Alicia Vikander behind Matt Damon looking like she'd rather be anywhere else than listening to Casey's speech and of course, Chrissy Teigen seemingly asleep! Well-timed shade or plain fatigue?

You might have won your first Oscar, Casey, but it's clear that your peers are not judging you based on your acting skills.
