Jetting off to Okinawa, rubbing shoulders with Chiara Ferragni, being mentored by Beauty With Tashy and meeting the region's biggest names. This has been just a slice of 24-year old Fairuz Nadia Anuar's journey on the road to being named SK-II's Next Top Beauty Creator in the second season of Beauty Bound web reality competition.

The fashion writer snags a US$60,000 prize package including a year's contract and products from SK-II, a one-week exchange programme in the United States with industry experts, and YouTube training to sharpen her video production skills.

At the Okinawa finale, the nine finalists entered a #FaceTheWild social media challenge, where they had to prove their prowess in creating beauty content on YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. Nadia worked with mentor Natasha Afzal (of Beauty With Tashy), on a video and live content on her channels.

"I can only thank everyone who has believed in me, encouraged me and supported me through it all," Nadia wrote on Instagram. "I am over the moon! Today, my dream became a reality because of you."

This year's competition was announced seven months ago and was auditioned for by more than 400 aspiring beauty creators across Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.
